The Word of God states, “wisdom is the principal thing.” With wisdom God also urges us to get understanding.
With whom do we choose to listen? It takes wisdom.
In the state we are in with the pandemic, the attainment of wisdom is key for every individual. Our lives are at stake! Life and death decisions are made daily. Do I stay home? Do I wear a mask? How do I shop for essentials? How do I socialize? How do I work? How do I maintain friendships and relationships?
My prayer right now is for wisdom and discernment, not only for me, but for all of us. Lord please help us understand our and others’ motivation. Help us recognize when decisions are driven by economics and not health and well-being. Assist us in making sound choices. Protect us in all that we do. We acknowledge You and strive to bring every one of our thoughts under subjection. In the time of this pandemic, we seek your wisdom constantly for we know it is the most important thing.
