Let’s be clear – 2020 vision

“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” John‬ ‭10:10‬ ‭KJV

Let’s be clear. Through this troubling time please recognize who is “attempting” to win this battle – spiritual and physical. Yes, the enemy wants the world to think he can, BUT GOD!

He attempts to steal our joy. He tries to have us fear. For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy‬ ‭1:7‬ ‭KJV‬‬ The Word also states- There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. 1 John‬ ‭4:18‬ ‭KJV‬‬

He attempts to attack physically and tries to kill. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. 2 Corinthians‬ ‭4:7‬ ‭KJV‬‬

O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord. 1 Corinthians‬ ‭15:55-58‬ ‭KJV‬‬

He attempts to destroy us by separation. We fight back by causing reconciliation. For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; Ephesians‬ ‭2:14‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Later in the same chapter of Ephesians is states- Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God; And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit. Ephesians‬ ‭2:19-22‬ ‭KJV‬‬

God has allowed the world to slow down almost to a halt so we can pay attention and adjust our vision. Don’t miss the importance of this time of pause granted. He wants us to view life from a vantage point of appreciation and abundance. He wants us to have clear vision of how we are blessed.

What I see with my spiritual eyes- families spending quality time. People being more reflective and reaching out to those they normally would not. They are reconnecting to those they lost contact in the hustle of life. Neighbors and strangers are now looking out for one another. There are many more praying. (I was on 3 prayer calls in one day.) More folks are turning to God for direction, hope and answers.

Be encouraged in this season. Keep reminding yourself of God’s Word and promises. Keep your spiritual eyes open! STAY WOKE!! God has not left or forsaken us. All things work together for good even if it does not look good. Stand on His Word.

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles‬ ‭7:14‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Let’s be clear…God is still in charge and will triumph!
